Babolat x Lamborghini BL003: the supercar feeling on court!

When Babolat and Lamborghini first teamed up for the BL001 in 2024, it felt more like a concept car than a padel racket. It was eyewateringly expensive (€5,000), numbers were tiny, and most of them went straight into the hands of VIP collectors. BL002 in 2025 was a little more accessible at around £500, but still hard to get hold of – we didn’t list our allocation because our waiting list was so long.
Fastforward to 2026 and along comes the BL003, a performance racket that begs to be enjoyed on court. It’s expensive by padel standards (£520) but I genuinely would enjoy using it every single day. The price hasn’t stood in the way of it flying off our shelves – we’re now operating a waiting list ahead of further stock landing.
Supercar racket that drives like a dream
The first thing you notice is the weight and balance. From the second I picked up a test racket at Babolat’s padel HQ in Madrid, it felt fast. I honestly felt quicker around the court just holding it. BL003 is much more manoeuvrable and noticeably lighter in the hand than BL002.
At the net it was a dream. The racket comes through the air so easily that you can get set early and really go after your volleys. I was able to put opponents under pressure, taking the ball in front of me and driving it deep into the corners. Despite the light feel, the racket is stable and precise, even in the fastest rallies.

The contact is on the softer, more comfortable side, which I loved. Often when you go softer in a racket you lose some performance. With the BL003 you still get that cutting-edge, high-power response, but your arm doesn’t take a beating.
Under the bonnet
BL003 isn’t just a top-end Babolat racket with a Lamborghini logo. It’s built in a dedicated factory in Spain, with Babolat’s padel engineers and Lamborghini’s materials experts collaborating on the construction.
Under the frame surface there’s Koridion foam – the material Lamborghini uses in its racing car bumpers. It is incredibly strong and flexible, so in a racket it gives you both stability and a really lively, elastic feel on contact. That’s why BL003 manages to feel soft yet still powerful.
On the surface you’ve got a thermoplastic top layer, a technology borrowed from the ski world. This gives the racket a bright, glossy, almost automotive finish, but it’s not just for show. It adds durability, softens the feel at impact and helps protect your £520 investment from scuffs and scrapes.
The hole pattern is also unique. All the drilling is concentrated in the centre of the face, leaving more material around the edges. This increases stability when you’re stretched wide or mishit slightly towards the frame, and it helps keep your shots accurate even under pressure.

Looks, colours, wow factor
BL003 comes in two colours: dazzling blue and a crisp white. I genuinely couldn’t pick between them – both look incredible under the lights and really stand out on court. And each racket arrives in an exclusive presentation box with an authenticity card, so you know you’re getting the real deal. The whole unboxing experience feels closer to opening new high-end tech rather than a padel racket!
Who it’s for?
This isn’t a pro-only sledgehammer. I’d describe BL003 as a racket for discerning players who want comfort, manoeuvrability and precision, but still expect serious performance when they step up the pace. If you like the feel of Babolat’s Air range and spend plenty of time at the net, this will be right up your street.
Global numbers are tiny – only a few hundred rackets worldwide – and they’re being released in small batches over the coming months.
