Blazing Padels brings Persian inspo to Norfolk

The UK’s padel space could well be ignited by the latest addition to the burgeoning list of clubs up and down the country, for when it opens at the end of September, Persian-inspired Blazing Padels will be the first dedicated padel venue in Norfolk with two indoor courts – and perhaps the best name yet!

Former DJ, music producer and publisher Alex Nagshineh is behind the new venture, which opens on September 29th with heritage sports brand Dunlop as launch partner.

Alex said: “We’re really excited to bring the sport of padel to Norfolk. Given padel culture’s relaxed and social nature, we aim to create a welcoming and comfortable space for players and casual visitors to kick back with friends and family.”

The Blazing Padels courts, bookable via Matchi, are housed in a converted cowshed at Salle Moor Hall Farm, Reepham, around 20 minutes drive north-west of Norwich. Players will have use of a cafe bar, terrace, showering/changing facilities, social spaces, equipment hire and a pro shop. Plans are in place for social padel sessions, events, coaching and leagues for newcomers/regulars.

To celebrate the opening on September 29th, visitors can book sessions, watch a demonstration game featuring members of the GB padel team and try to ‘beat the pros’. 🎾
