The tournament format will see the nations split into four groups of four teams – 10 of which will come through direct qualification based on their finishing position at the last European Championships, while the other six teams will be determined by the qualification event.

After the group stages, the two teams that top each group will advance to the play-offs to determine positions 1-8, while the remaining teams will bid to finish in positions 9-16.

The last European Championships in Marbella in 2021 saw the GB men finish sixth. As a result, the team enter this year’s championships as sixth seeds. The women – who finished 10th in 2021 – start as 10th seeds. 🎾
