Wilson has launched a new racket – the Accent – with a slightly convex face designed to increase the hitting surface.
The teardrop shaped rackets are designed for casual players looking for ‘easy power and ultimate comfort’ and come in two variants – the Accent (£170) and the lighter Accent LT (£230). Wilson feels they are a good choice for players with arm issues due to their shock absorption abilities.
“Accent offers an unparalleled blend of power and comfort, offering social players a more forgiving padel experience to ensure they can enjoy this sport even more,” said Iñaki Cabrera, Wilson Global Business Director.
The soft EVA foam rackets have what Wilson describes as a ‘unique convex construction’, a more forgiving sweet spot and hole pattern for softness and off-centre ‘forgiveness’.
