We’re really excited to break the news that The Battersea Games (at the iconic power station in London) will feature padel, with the pop-up court open to the public throughout the summer.
The Battersea Games will take place from July 1 to September 3 in what the venue is billing as its biggest summer event yet with an array of free and ticketed sports, games and activities taking place, including Wimbledon live streamed to a big screen.
Padel is (for us!) the best addition to the event and will be provided by Rocket Padel, which recently opened the UK’s biggest indoor centre (14 courts in Bristol). The pop-up court will be located within the power station’s riverside park and open daily from 9am-10pm (£60/hr). Rackets and balls will be available and the team from Rocket Padel on hand to assist. Coaching sessions with The Padel School will be bookable online and via the Padel Mates app. Booking details to follow. 🎾
