Smash Padel buys Oxford’s MVP

Smash Padel has announced plans to develop MVP Padel’s three-court site in Oxford after revealing it has acquired the facility from founders Melinda Malouli and Vanessa Benedict.

Rupert Taylor, CEO of Smash Padel, said: “The MVP team has quickly established a fantastic site in Oxford. We are excited to build on this thriving community with the introduction of Smash Padel coaching, tournaments, socials and more. Initially there will be little change, beyond some more opportunities to play and some new Smash Padel faces on site to support players. Over time we have plans to further develop the site to improve the facilities for both playing, spectating and socialising to enhance the community.”

Carson Russell, Chief Commercial Officer at Smash Padel added: “We can’t wait to add to the excellent coaching at MVP with our own sessions and programmes. This will include activities for all ages and abilities, not least our junior pathway which is already beginning to deliver success at Bicester.”

Smash Padel’s first club opened in Bicester last year and it is preparing to open new clubs in Whitstable, Kent, and Cardiff in coming months. 🎾
